Mercury Computer Systems provides embedded computing systems and software that combine image, signal, and sensor processing with information management for data-intensive applications. Mercury serves a broad range of industries that include aerospace and defense, homeland security, telecommunications, and other computationally challenging markets. Lexicon performed a multi-directional integration with Salesforce, Oracle ERP, and BigMachines.

Identified Issues

• End points included Oracle ERP, Salesforce, legacy FPX & PDM applications
• Different business processes were done at different systems and no integration were in place between systems
• Product & Price master needed to be synchronized between Oracle & PDM
• Quotations had to be generated from FPX

Engineered Solution

• Developed orchestrations that will integrate data between all these platform
• Complex data & layout transformations performed to match the legacy file pattern
• Implemented logics to handle large volume of XML data processing which got coupled with legacy applications
• Solution included file handling in FTP locations in typical fashion
